We are excited to share that The PVH Foundation has granted $1.37 million USD to 14 organizations worldwide, all of which has supported over 4,300 participants through various programming and projects across countries, age groups and socioeconomic status. This reflects the progress made in year one of our four-year commitment to invest $10 million USD with global nonprofit organizations to support programming and initiatives that enhance awareness of, and access to, opportunities in the fashion industry for underrepresented communities. In addition, over 100 PVH associates have helped make an impact through over 300 hours of volunteering with various partner organizations. Key highlights include:
- With funding from the PVH Foundation, WABC provided 20 empowered young adults with mental disabilities in Shanghai and Yunnan Dali with creative skills and opportunities through art training.
- PVH supported New Circles' Retail Power-Up Project to enable newcomers in Canada to receive workforce readiness training in the retail and fashion industry.
- PVH partnered with the Misa Hylton Fashion Academy All-Star mentorship program, which pairs mentees with experienced fashion industry mentors to offer tangible steps for their career success.
- PVH collaborated with Creatives Want Change to provide students with career development opportunities in fashion.
- PVH supported 400 underrepresented students from Prep for Prep by showcasing potential fashion career paths. - PVH and Australian Business and Community Network (ABCN) supported 168 students across six schools through career panels, site tours, webinars, and interview workshops.
- In collaboration with the National Urban League, PVH hosted digital career development sessions for 129 students to broaden their understanding of careers in the fashion industry. - PVH's partnership with House of Denim provided young adults with weekly coaching and training in professional fashion skills.
- PVH developed school-based curriculum focused on ecological impact, social significance and career opportunities within the fashion industry with Fashion Council Germany.
- PVH helped fund the Ecotece LabModa+ program which promotes sustainability and inclusion in the fashion industry through training and opportunities to young people in vulnerable socioeconomic situations and minority groups in Brazil.
- PVH supported the Graduate Fashion Foundation’s Diversity and Inclusivity Showcase at Graduate Fashion Week 2022 where 24 students were recognized among industry leaders.
- PVH helped expand Custom Collaborative’s internship program to provide 40 participants in a 15-week, in-depth curriculum on professional development in the fashion industry.
- I Love First Peoples leveraged PVH’s support to facilitate programming for over 1800 students in eight different communities and will open five additional locations to increase their reach to over 3500 students in the near future.
- PVH’s work with KELY Support Group (KELY) allowed the organization to support 23 participants from underserved communities across Nepal, India, Pakistan, the Philippines and more with intensive training programs on career-building skills and fashion design.
